Julia has done stuff in the past.

She's worked as a freelance audio engineer in a recording studio and was a radio and news journalist for more than a decade.

As the lead guitarist of the Portland, OR based indie-pop outfit Meeping, she wrote and recorded guitar parts for the band's sophomore album and went on a 10-day Japan tour in 2019.

With her indie-pop duo Loftän, she played over 50 gigs in Oregon including festivals, house shows, and appearances on live radio and tv. The band also produced an EP, 15 vlogs, and multiple music videos. 

After calling Oregon her home for eight years, Julia moved to Pittsburgh, PA at the end of 2023.

She works as a freelance writer for Pickup Music and teaches guitar and bass lessons at the Little Lesson House. She also runs a monthly jam session called The Q Jam.

Julia is available for collaborations, session work, and live performances as a solo artist, with a band, or a side player on guitar or bass for your project.
